Dragging images in Adobe Illustrator?

I don't like where I drew something in Adobe Illustrator. Is there something I can do to move it to another end of the page? Also, how would I shrink and enlarge things? And could I scan images into Illustrator and trace it with the paintbrush tool? Or does that only work with the pen tool? Thanks!Dragging images in Adobe Illustrator?
To move something, select the black arrow tool, then simply click the object, and when you see the bounding box around the selected object, click and drag to move it.

When you have the item selected (with the black arrow) you will notice white squares in the corners and the sides of the bounding box. These are called nodes. If you click them and drag, you will resize the image. If you hold down the shift key and click and drag any of the corner nodes, you will be able to maintain equal proportion of the image.

You can scan images an put them into Illustrator. Create a new layer, then with the new layer selected, go to file, then place, and a browse window will appear for you to select the file you want to trace. Select it and the picture will place into Illustrator, be sure to lock the layer. Create a new layer above it, then trace away. Yes you can use the brush tool as well to trace if you like.
