I want to use illustrator, indesign and photoshop. which mac should I buy? can someone help?

I am very new to mac and all the other design programs. I'm a graphic designer and use a new iMac which is great.





Depending on the type of work you are going to be doing i would get as much RAM as you can and as big a screen as you can so you have plent of room to work.





G5 with oodles of RAM and a nice big HD screen would be nice however a something along the lines of a 20inch iMac would do the job!





if you need to design ';on the move'; as it were get a mac book pro, or a normal mac book if the finances are tigh-ish.

the one with the most ram you can afford





ram is the most important thing for you, above the processor and above the video card





otherwise save money for an external hard drive, to keep your work stuff safe and off the laptop drive
