I want to create my own website but have 0 web skills i have Photoshop Illustrator and Go Live, what do I do?

1) You create your web page design in Illustrator and/or Photoshop.

option a) you learn Golive and html/css. Convert your design to a web template in Golive. Drawback to this method: takes time and a lot of effort.





option b) you hire someone to do the conversion for you. Drawback: may cost money, unless you know a friend / have a family member who will do this for you.





option c) get Xara Web Designer. If you know how to use both Illustrator and Photoshop, you can learn this truly simple to use VISUAL web designer app in an afternoon. Create an original website with several pages in a matter of hours, which is web standard compliant and uses css for layout. What's more: you do not need to know one bit about coding. Drawback: you will not learn one bit about coding. And it costs a banal $49. Check the trial, which is fully functional. I am a professional web designer, and must say this is the first tool I have ever come across that actually keeps the promise of creating good looking web sites without writing one line of code.

Of course, you will still need to bring the images from Photoshop and Illustrator into web designer, and re-build your design.

Note: although I think xara web designer is a great prototyping tool, I still think that to become a real web professional you will have to know how to code a page manually. But for designers or people like you who wish to create a great looking static website and do not know jack about coding, nor wish to know, this is heaven-sent.
