Try this, it will take a little trial and error to get it just how you want it:





Use the star tool. I think its under the square or circle button on your tool bar.





Click on the stage. Adjust the numbers in the pop up box so that you have as many points as you'd like. Adjust the radius numbers so that the inside points are closer to the outside points.





The under the Effects Menu (I think), choose distort: Punk and Bloat. Try Punk to make the curving shapes of the star.
