How do i change the document size in illustrator?

It's under the File pulldown menu - Document Setup. Set the units to inches and type in 4x4.





It seems like you are aware that all that does is change the ';artboard'; - it will not scale anything down for you (in Photoshop - if you make the document smaller, everything gets smaller). You will need to do that manually to fit in the 4x4 square.How do i change the document size in illustrator?
